About Me
My name is Tyler Smith, and I am currently a Design Manager with Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology. Product Design for digital devices and real world experiences is my passion, and creating memorable moments for people is my goal. Most recently, I’ve been managing and leading the design team for ESPN’s Streaming, Commerce, and Innovation pillars, with the goal of transforming ESPN into the preeminent sports destination for fans. I also had the pleasure of leading and launching the Disney Genie Service for Walt Disney World and Disneyland. Additionally with Disney Parks, I launched pages, features, and applications for Disney Parks Re-Opening, Tickets, Resorts, Merchandise, Dining, and Platform teams.
Prior to ESPN and Disney, my works have been installed in the Jepson Center, allowed me to work with BMW, and to redesign web pages with leading game media company Curse Inc.
I received my Masters in Interactive Design and Game Development at Savannah College of Art and Design, and a degree in Mathematics with a minor in Game Studies and Design at the University of Montevallo.
