Lead the design for Walt Disney World’s Taste of Epcot International Food & Wine Fesitval 2020. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, we needed a templatized scalable solution to replace the traditionally printed materials to reduce touch-points throughout the park. We partnered closely with product, marketing, and branding partners to ensure that our digital experience would properly reflect the physical experience in the park. The Food & Wine festival guide was accessible directly through the My Disney Experience App home screen, and through QR codes placed on kiosks throughout EPCOT.

 

After the delivery and launch of the initial festival guide, we expanded on the capabilities in the template for Disneyland Resort’s 65 Years of Magic celebration. The enhancements for the template included image galleries, image focused dining modules, and additional theming elements to directly tie in more with the physical festival elements planned to go throughout Disneyland Resort. This festival guide template has continued to be used, and inspired the creation of many other event guides in the My Disney Experience and Disneyland Resort mobile applications.
